Hi, I’m Jimi

Hey there Sportsfans. My name is Jimi Green (not really) and I want to welcome you to our website. If you love pro football like I do, you will love our site. As our name suggests, with the subtlety of a punch in the mouth, we are here to win on pro football. From time to time, I will ramble right here in Jimi’s Jam about all things NFL and whatever else suits me. After all, it is my blog. I hope you will find my musings entertaining and informative; I know you will find them a bit different.

So why do I call myself Jimi Green? What other name conjures an image of originality, uniqueness, outrageousness and cool all at once more than Jimi? The idea of an automated betting system is certainly outrageous, and the idea of one that works like a well oiled machine is also pretty cool. Nowadays, Green may mean many different things to many different people, but make no mistake our machine is about making money.

Preseason is already under way and that means the real games are just around the corner. You need to know right off the bat, that I am not a typical handicapper—I do not feel compelled to make a pick on every game, or even every week. I am perfectly willing to sit back and wait for the right situations to present themselves to me. I have been doing this for a long time and have learned my lessons. So let me suggest to you, if you can’t watch a game without some sort of action that you join a fantasy league or a suicide pool to provide yourself with some sort of rooting interest for the times that we don’t have a winner for you. Why lose real money just to make the games interesting?

I doubt many other handicappers will voluntarily pass on an entire week of NFL action and tell their customers to save their money for another day, because they (the handicapper) do not believe there is any game that week in which they have a significant edge. I would rather earn credibility and respect by showing some discipline and restraint. But that’s me.
